Who we are

Log It (“Log It”, “we”, “us”) operates the pilot-logbook service at logit.flights. For any privacy question, contact us at hello@logit.flights. We are the data controller for the personal data described below.

Data we collect

• Account data — your email address (and Google account identifier if you sign in with Google).
• Logbook data you enter — flights, aircraft, dates, times, airports, and any remarks you add.
• Photos you upload for logbook import, which are sent to our AI provider to extract flight details and are not retained after processing.
• Billing data — handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; we store only your subscription status and Stripe customer reference.
• Technical data — basic logs and device/browser information needed to run and secure the service.

How we use your data

To provide the logbook, compute your stats and currency, process subscriptions, respond to support requests, and keep the service secure. Our legal bases are performance of our contract with you and our legitimate interest in operating and improving the service.

Service providers

We share data only with providers that help us run Log It:

• Supabase — database, authentication and storage.
• Vercel — application hosting.
• Stripe — payment processing and subscription management.
• Mapbox — the interactive map.
• Google (Gemini) — parsing uploaded logbook photos into flights.

Some providers are based outside the UK/EEA; where that happens, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use them to track you across other websites.

Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your flights at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account and associated data.

Your rights

Subject to UK/EU data protection law, you can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any right, email hello@logit.flights. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes

We may update this policy; we'll change the date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the app.
